There's nothing at all wrong with clan play, and in many respects it's probably the aspect of the game that makes the most sense, as it has you teaming up with like-minded players to tactically take down another team. The problem is that when clans end up invading a public lobby (a practice referred to as "pubstomping"), it usually results in a total white-wash which isn't very much fun for the regular players. After all, isn't the whole point of a public lobby that you're playing with a bunch of randomers, and as such strategy isn't really all that important? Even the worst clan is going to have more organisational skill than a random lobby of players, and so the matches don't tend to last very long, as most of the single players will just end up rage quitting out of sheer frustration. Clans need to do the right thing and either play within their own clan, or make sure to play against other clans.
