I experienced this just this weekend at a disturbingly high level of frequency. I'm not just talking about that cocky player who won't shut up about how good he is, but the player who seems to lack any sense of self-awareness about how annoying his contributions to the game's voice chat are. I'm talking about the player who insists on piping loud music through their voice channel, apparently unaware that it simply ends up distorted to everyone else, or in the event that they are aware, they're just a massive douchebag. Then there's the people who seem to play the game in the noisiest environment possible yet still insist on wearing a headset despite contributing nothing strategic or entertaining to the game, other than the sensory distraction that the loud bleating of a small child in the distance causes. Usually for me this just results in the entire game's voice channel being muted.
Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes).
