Since the original Halo game, 343 Guilty Spark was a quirky companion that provided a lot of the series' comic relief, which made it all the more surprising when the it was revealed to be the final boss of Halo 3. For starters, it felt a bit annoying when 343 Guilty Spark decided to turn on the Chief. Here you are, on the brink of saving the universe, and this stupid tiny robot suddenly decides its having none of it. After a final showdown with the Gravemind being built up since Halo 2, the Guilty Spark was a bizarre choice from Bungie. The fight itself is also puzzlingly easy, even while playing on Legendary difficulty. The 'mechanics' behind it consist of picking up a Spartan Laser, pointing it at Guilty Spark, and holding down the trigger. It lasts a very short amount of time and never feels like a dangerous encounter.
