10 Awesome Hidden Video Game Modes You Totally Missed
1. Boom Bam Golf - Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild
Exploring Hyrule in the latest Legend of Zelda games is an absolute blast. The kick you get when you find a new, interesting location to mess around in is just unmatched. Part of the charm is in the mini-games you can randomly come across, and amongst the ones included in Breath of the Wild, Boom Bam Golf has to be the most impressive.
As the name suggests, Boom Bam Golf lets Link play mini-golf, except in this case the ball is a giant boulder, the golf club is a sledgehammer, and the entire thing takes place inside a volcanic canyon.
Well, at least the rules are the same, as the goal is to hit the ball into the hole in the least number of strokes.
What makes Boom Bam Golf so special compared to other minigames is that it clearly had a lot of thought put into it. The location it takes place in is specifically designed to be a golf course, and the camera follows your "ball" when you play, just like in an actual video game about golfing.
It's a really fun side activity, but don't get addicted to it. Someone still needs to defeat Ganon, remember?
