10 Awesome Things Sleeping Dogs Does Better Than GTA V

2. Vehicle Storage

Vehicle customisation in GTA V was nothing short of excellent; the sheer amount of things you could modify your car with took me aback. But storing your vehicle was another matter entirely, garages were few and far between and if you splashed out a lot of cash to modify your car only for it to be destroyed, then you had to do it all over again. I appreciate that this is a more realistic approach but in a game where you can survive being shot in the head because you're wearing a bulletproof vest I don't think realism is the most important aspect. Sleeping Dogs didn't offer any vehicle customisation beyond different paint jobs, but the storage system was simple; you bought a car, it was in your garage forever. No matter how many times you wrecked your car, you were able to go to a garage and pick it up again. Also, garages were everywhere, you were never too far from one so if you needed your car quickly you could go and grab it. Simple, yet effective.
