The Kingdom Hearts series, being a marriage of Disney and Japanese RPG storytelling, is pretty much boundless as far as its possibilities are concerned. From Fantasia to Final Fantasy, there are so many universes and so many canons for the games to plunder and dig deep into for all they're worth.

But that's not to say the series is purely derivative, as the wealth of original ideas these games bring to the table mesh so naturally with the pre-established stories and characters that the end product is a whole new epic adventure altogether.

One of the most badass optional superbosses in the first Kingdom Hearts is Kurt Zisa, a six-armed, shotel-wielding Emblem Heartless. He'll give you a damn entertaining boss battle, for sure, but if you've ever stopped to think about where his peculiar name came from...

...Yep, it's the name of a contest winner!

A boy named Kurt Zisa was given the opportunity before the game's release to give this cobra-headed foe a name - and went and named him straight after himself. Wouldn't just 'Zisa' have fit better?

Regardless of your thoughts on this, though, them's the rules, and hey, we still got a great boss out of it.
