10 Awesome Video Game Rewards That Came Too Late

7. Rodin - Bayonetta 3

PlatinumGames

After completing Bayonetta 3, new goodies are added to the shop, including the Platinum Ticket. Because this coveted coupon cost a whopping 999,999 Seeds, Cereza must perform an unreasonable amount of grinding to afford it.

After purchasing the Ticket, the gun-heeled witch will be challenged by Devil Rodin: The Infinite One. By defeating this fallen angel, he'll become summonable in combat.

However, beating this super-boss is a nightmare. He moves at dizzying speeds, launching untelegraphed attacks that require the inhuman reflexes to dodge. His magnetic assault is so devastating, if can drain a full health bar in one go.

Just to make things less fair, all items are off-limits during this bout. This means that Cereza or her allies can't heal, boost their stats, or revive when they die (which will happen a lot).

Technically, Rodin doesn't have to be beaten, since he can be purchased in the shop. Unfortunately, he costs another 999,999 Seeds, meaning our sultry heroine has to take part in more laborious battles to attain him.

But what's the point? Not only is the main campaign beaten, even the biggest fans will be sick of playing, since they had to grind for hours to use Rodin in the first place.
