6. Fierce Deity Mask - The Legend Of Zelda: Majora's Mask
In Majora's Mask, Link acquires masks as he traverses through Termina, each with their own unique powers. Depending on what mask is worn, the Ocarina-playing Hylian can hypnotise animals, end conflicts, develop insomnia, or conduct a choir of singing frogs.
If Link finds all 24 masks, he'll be entrusted with the Fierce Deity Mask. While wearing this garment, Link has enhanced strength and defence. If he's at full-health, his sword unleashes homing bolts, stunning any nearby enemy.
To the chagrin of everyone, there's a major catch. Link only receives this prized possession before fighting the final boss. And because Majora is bafflingly easy, Link can mop the floor with him, even without going Full Beast Mode.
But that's not all. The enchanted mask can only be worn while fighting bosses. Unfortunately, the bosses' mechanics make the Fierce Deity Mask mostly redundant. Goht moves too fast to be fought without wearing the Goron Mask. Gyorg can only be damaged while wearing the Zora Mask. Twinmold is only vulnerable while Link is in Giant form.
So, the Fierce Deity Mask can be used properly against the first boss, Odolwa and the final one. That's it.
