10 Awesome Video Game Weapons You Never Got To Use

5. Brick Blaster - Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare

As outlandish as Call of Duty managed to get in some of its later generations (looking at you Infinite Warfare), the more mainstream games have always been grounded in some sense of reality. Whether in World War Two or the modern age, the games bring a gritty and visceral look at the realities of war in our world, with the weapons reflecting the setting wherever possible.

This all makes the next entry on this list all the more baffling, as realism is chucked out the window and COD transcends outlandish to go all the way to the bizarre. Ladies, gentlemen and those who identify otherwise, I give you the Brick Blaster.

Not just a standard pistol, the Brick Blaster lives up to its name by firing a cinder block alongside every round in its magazine. Yep, you read that right. Attainable only through console commands, the gun boasts no audio, item text or pick-up icon, and wielding it causes the player to move in a way befitting the bizarre nature of the weapon.

Likely a goof or a bit of messing around by developers, the Brick Blaster is nevertheless one of the stranger entries onto this list
