10 Awesome Video Games You've Missed In 2020 (So Far)
8. The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners
Whether or not you've bought into VR, the medium is frequently derided for its lack of true AAA experiences, and though Half-Life: Alyx stole everyone's attention away earlier this year, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners also deserves to be recognised.
This terrific effort from Skydance Interactive is intensely focused on the survival aspect of survival horror, with players forced to scavenge, sneak, and fight their way through New Orleans, facing off against both the undead horde and opposing human forces.
What really takes Saints & Sinners to the next level, though, is the added third dimension: hacking away at zombies is tactile and tiring, as after burying your machete in a Walker's head, you'll need to physically pull it out of their destroyed skull.
The sense of immersion throughout is incredible, aided by first-rate visuals and some uncommonly strong voice acting. For those craving a dread-inducing VR horror effort in the vein of Resident Evil 7, you couldn't do much better than this.
