10 Backwards Compatible Xbox 360 Games Microsoft Are Ignoring

8. Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World

Bryan Lee O'Malley's beloved series, Scott Pilgrim, managed to have one of the best movie tie-in games of all time. Why isn't it backwards compatible?!

Despite only being a Xbox Live Arcade title and not a fully fledged retail release, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game still ranks as a highly requested backwards compatible title. This might be because the film and graphic novel series both have a cult classic status, but it could just be because the game itself is absolutely awesome.

Inspired by beat em ups like River City Ransom, Scott Pilgrim takes that gameplay style, injects it with amazing music by Anamanaguchi and sprinkles a bunch of fan service for Scott Pilgrim fans. The game was well received and sold well, which makes the fact that it's currently missing from the backwards compatibility list even more confusing.

Whether it be because of Ubisoft or Microsoft, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game really deserves to be backwards compatible sometime in the future (yes, with jetpacks).

Jumping through portals, swinging through cities, destroying beings made of darkness and occasionally shooting a gun or two. I also write about games.
