10 Beloved Video Games You Forgot Never Got Sequels
6. Singularity
Although it didn't provide a ground-breaking experience, Singularity weaved the best parts of Bioshock, Wolfenstein and Halo to deliver one of the most satisfying first person shooting experiences on the Xbox 360. While looking a little dated even on release, no amount of technical problems could hamper the immense amount of fun Singularity's shooting mechanics provided, and with a vast arsenal of time-related powers, the sheer number of different ways the game gave you to annihilate your enemies was truly outstanding. Whether you were blasting your way through bad guys or speeding up their body clock to turn them to dust, Singularity reveled in the ridiculous chaos you could create. Unfortunately, developers Raven Software have a knack for making great games that don't really sell well, so for the past few years the team has operated as essentially an extra hand to help polish the latest Call of Duty games. But there have been rumblings of a sequel recently, and with Call of Duty adopting a new three year development cycle for its new releases, perhaps Raven Software will finally be given the opportunity to revisit this classic shooter.
