10 Best Aliens And Predator Games
7. Predator (1987-1989)
While the slasher of Friday the 13th was stuck in a purple jumpsuit trying to kill horny friends and Elm Street's Freddy was throwing his body parts at sleepy teens, the Predator had to deal with a fully armed and angry Arnold as he wandered through a 2D third-person side-scroller jungle shooting down any guerrillas and vicious birds that tried to knock him off.
The first-ever Predator game was a relatively short game, with only five different jungle levels to walk across, the actual challenge was the lack of resources in bullets, grenades and lives the player had to deal with, as well as the occasional thermal screen that would pop up to indicate the Predator was about to target the Austrian bodybuilder's massive physique with its plasma gun.
The game actually had two releases with the first being in 1987 on the MSX and then later was ported onto the much more popular NES where it received primarily positive reviews.
