10 Best Anime Games Of The Last 10 Years

This list is in no way ordered, but it would be a lie to say we haven't saved the best game until last. Dragon Ball FighterZ isn't just the best anime game to come out of the last decade, it's also a contender for the best fighting game to come out of the last ten years.

If you love Dragon Ball, you don't need any convincing to play this game. The soundtrack, the art style, the voice work - everything is perfect. Every move every character has is some reference to something that happened in the show, with a slew of dramatic finishes thrown in for extra hype.

If you're not a fan, you'll instead find a beautifully animated fighter with extremely satisfying combos and easy to learn but hard to master mechanics.

Sure, it has its downsides. A slightly forgettable story, relatively poor frame rates online, and a daunting skill gap - but even if you just spent your time sitting in practice mode and trying out characters, you're guaranteed to have a blast of a time. The game is still getting support too, with three more characters yet to be released. Not bad for a fighter that's two years old!
