Most Dragon Ball Z games can be criticised for not telling an original story as they tend to stick to the usual stories all fans know. Supersonic Warriors goes in a different direction though with its 'what if' scenarios story mode.

Each character gets a unique story mode that still involves the Frieza, Androids and Majin Buu sagas but alters them to put your chosen character in the lead role, for example; in Krillin's story, he learns how to do the spirit bomb so he can defeat Cell.

It's a very interesting way of mixing with the usual Dragon Ball Z game formula and it gives the game more replayability as every character's story is different.
