10 Best Levels In Star Wars Game History

5. TIE Factory - Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

The story of Starkiller, Darth Vader's secret apprentice in the years between Episodes III and IV, The Force Unleashed was a game stacked full of fan-serving lore, impressive visuals and some fairly challenging moments across its various levels.

Whilst re-exploring the planet of Felucia following its appearances in Episode III and Battlefront II was undoubtedly great, the level that really captured the magnitude of The Force Unleashed comes just before it in the TIE Fighter Factory.

The first mission in the game as Vader's apprentice, the entire level is essentially an opportunity for players to smash, kill and destroy as many things as they can. Utterly destroying entire hangars of TIE Fighters is one of the most satisfactory feelings the Star Wars universe can present, and the boss battle against the legendary General Kota is suitably impressive.

Kota's fight is not only vital to the whole story of Starkiller and the fate of the galaxy, but it can also present a couple of iffy moments for new players. Not making the most of Starkiller's force powers can leave players susceptible to Kota's counter-attacks and the various environment changes, but it does all help the level stand out as being absolutely pivotal to the story and kicking proceedings off in a huge way.
