You’ve got a party that consists of two fighters and a barbarian, they aren’t disarming traps or going to the noble’s party, they just want to fight. You’re going to need a monster that can stand up to their onslaught and deal out their own damage. Well, Orcs are a good start.

Orcs can be played in a number of ways, they can be the primal aggressive type or the misunderstood outcasts, either way, someone will want them taken care of. Find yourself a nice cave, put in around five Orcs and make one a commander, there’s your side quest done. Need an added challenge, let them have a chained-up Ogre to put some fear into the party.

Feel free to add any little additions you like. Maybe the Orcs tame wolves, or have mounts. You could even make this a whole campaign where a war is staged between the free tribes of the Orc nation and another kingdom. Just make sure you have a backup plan in case your players join the Orcs instead.
