10 Best Mortal Kombat Villains EVER

The kontestants of Mortal Kombat have always been surprisingly okay with shredding their rivals to pieces or pulling their enemies's heart out. That goes double for the residents of Outworld since they seem to enjoy dismembering kombatants.

But it's safe to say nobody in the MK multiverse embraces violence like Kitana's twisted step-sister, Mileena. Cloned from Edenia and Tarkatan DNA, Mileena was intended to replace Kitana as Shao Kahn's heir since her ambitions were more aligned with his.

Because she becomes ecstatic when clawing clumps of flesh from her victims or gorging on their entrails, it's easy to assume Mileena is nothing more than a wild animal.

And guess what? She totally is! Even though later entries in the series have fleshed out many of the villains' backstories so they don't come across as one-note charactesr, Mileena's personality is pretty much the same. There's nothing complex about her. At the end of the day, she is an unhinged and carnivorous (but sexy) mutant.

Nevertheless, her fan base is so passionate, the developers had Mileena return in MK11's Kombat Pack 2 despite the fact she died in the previous game.
