10 Best Multiplayer Maps In Call Of Duty: Black Ops History

4. Slums

Making an appearance in all save for the first Black Ops release, Slums is a tried-and-true classic in this long-running Call of Duty subseries. A tight, often claustrophobic junction of side streets spilling into a wide-open central thoroughfare, the team which dominated Slums’ central area dominated the game.

Catering to just about every viable playstyle, players could get away with using everything from short-range shotguns and pistols to sniper rifles and even launchers. While it isn’t uncommon to see someone running amuck with an SMG, those pushing the objective or forcing the enemy team back into their spawn always need to make sure that they don’t wander into any wide-open spaces.

Located in Panama City, the vibrant foliage of Slums is juxtaposed well with the stark concrete work, and it all feels very realistically run-down. Maps in the Black Ops games are typically criticized for their samey visuals, but these Central American streets and sprawling courtyards will definitely stick in the minds of CoD fans for quite some time.

There are quite a few memorable maps in the Black Ops series, but this has to be one of the very best.
