Anyone who has played Breath of the Wild will know that sometimes a quick escape is Link's only option for survival but long before Calamity Ganon decimated Hyrule, there was another incarnation of the legendary hero who had just the tool for bailing out on trouble - A Link to the Past's titular hero.

The Magic Mirror given to Link by the Lost Old Man on Death Mountain is primarily used as a portable method for the hero to move between the Light and Dark Worlds - the core mechanic of the game itself.
