2. Medicham
Medicham is quite a strange Pokemon. It's a dual type Fighting/Psychic battler that takes nothing more or less than regular damage from most other types. It
is resistant to Fighting and Rock types, though, and has a weakness to Flying and Ghost types. Medicham is one of very few Pokemon that can naturally learn attacks from many other typesets, though, as it is able to learn any of the Fire, Ice or Electric Punch attacks. Medicham is adaptable and equipping it with all three of these Punches will make it an excellent utility Pokemon to deal with any number of other types. Since there are seventeen different Pokemon types and only six spots available on your battling team, having a Pokemon that can cover so many options could be just the boost you need when trying to choose which other types you need to favour. Medicham has a decent Speed stat and is also proficient in both forms of Defence. Though its Attack stats may not always lead to one-hit KOs, its Defence and Speed should mean that it is reliable over a couple of turns. Equipping it with the move 'Future Sight' can see it have a lasting impact on a battle and can make up for its weakness in all out attack. Medicham requires a well thought out turn-by-turn strategy but can be used to great effect as a type back-up if necessary as well.
