4. Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 - 13.26 Million Units

Time for the second Call of Duty entry on this list, as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 takes the spot of fourth best-selling game on the Xbox 360 at a rough figure of 13.26 million units sold. Like most COD games, Modern Warfare 2 broke the record for biggest entertainment launch in history back in 2009, surpassing its brother in arms Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Five days after release the gross figures were at roughly $550 million worldwide, while it breached $1 billion in mid-January, 2010. In the first month alone, Modern Warfare sold approximately 4.2 million units for the Xbox 360 in the U.S. Activision also boasted that they had 8 million players online (Xbox and PS3) within the first five days of online server play. Creative Strategist Robert Bowling added that they had over 25 million unique players in total by March 2010, which goes to show how widely played and bought this entry in the Call of Duty series was.
