10 Best Set Pieces In Uncharted History

9. Tibetan Village Siege (Uncharted 2)

After being chased by helicopters, tanks and tons of mercenaries throughout the whole game, it only seems right that Nate finally gets a chance to fight back.

The battle against the tank takes place after Nate and Tenzin explore ice caves in the Himalayan mountains, which was a relatively peaceful chapter. Following this up with a sequence absolutely full of action and combat feels like a very deliberate move on Naughty Dog’s behalf.

A notable highlight comes when Nate has to battle head-to-head against a tank that has been chasing him throughout the chapter. Every other time this happens in the game, Nate has to run away, but this encounter allows him to finally fight fire with… well, an RPG.

Considering how big the stakes get towards the end of Uncharted 2, it’s amazing that at the end of it all the village siege still feels like one of the biggest moments in the game.
