10 Best Star Wars Villains Who Debuted In Video Games

6. The Second Sister - Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

The above photo depicts Jedi: Fallen Order's chief antagonist indulging in a common past-time amongst Star Wars villains - introducing the hero's father figure to the pointy end of a crimson lightsaber.

As far as villain introductions go, killing off the affable mentor is a classic of the genre - as is the subsequent curb-stomp battle in which the Second Sister wipes the floor with protagonist Cal Kestis, neatly illustrating the power gap Cal and the player will spend the rest of the game attempting to overcome. And while we're discussing tropes, Second Sister even gets her own Tragic Backstory - she was a Jedi whose former Master betrayed her under torture, leading to the Sister's eventual capture and indoctrination by the Empire.

So yes, the Second Sister is a walking bundle of tropes. But there's nothing wrong with tropes if they're well-executed, and Jedi: Fallen Order manages to weld its collection of cliches into one of Star Wars gaming's better bad guys.

Watching the Second Sister evolve from boilerplate villain to sympathetic antagonist is arguably the best storyline in Cal Kestis' debut adventure, ably assisted by a stellar performance from actress Elizabeth Grullon (a performance that arguably peaks with the look of doomed realization that crosses her face when, having failed for the last time, a certain mechanical breathing pattern emerges from the background...)
