Many will argue that the first Buffy game, released a year prior exclusively for Xbox, was superior. And while this game certainly lacks some of the graphical polish of its predecessor, Chaos Bleeds has so much going for it.

First and foremost is the ability to play, for the first time, as members of the Scooby game. Each character has unique styles, with Spike being a brawler, Buffy the classic weapons expert, and Willow utilizing magic for far more character depth and variety.

The story is a joy, with the First Evil bringing in multiple realities into the Buffyverse. This means players get to fight classic villains from the series while also battling evil versions of allies such as the demon from of Anya.

The game is jam-packed with extras on top of the base game, with multiplayer modes, cast interviews, and even a digital copy of the tie-in comic book.

If players are willing to overlook some monotonous puzzles and subpar graphics, then action fans will find a pretty solid game, and Buffy fans will be absolutely delighted.
