Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, just as its tabletop RPG namesake, features three distinct vampire societies that control humanity from the shadows. However, unlike the tabletop version, Bloodlines only allows you to join two of them, much to the fans’ dismay.

The world of Bloodlines is centered around the Masquerade, a set of rules that allows vampires to keep their existence hidden from mortals. The two joinable factions in the game, the Camarilla and Anarchs, adhere to the Masquerade but are at odds as to how these rules should be enacted.

The third major faction, the Sabbat, is a fanatical death cult that rejects the Masquerade and believes that vampires should proudly show off their monstrous and sadistic nature to humans.

For this reason, the game uses Sabbat as its primary antagonist, but given that none of the characters you play as in Vampire are technically good guys, a lot of the game’s fans are actually interested in budding with Sabbat. Some of them have even created mods specifically for this purpose.

After all, when you’re playing a game about being a monster with dark superpowers, the last thing you want to do is listen to rules about not using the said powers!
