Cyberpunk 2077’s Night City is a surprisingly vibrant community of miscreants and criminals that make the dystopian future of the game feel more dangerous but also more fun!
From the cybernetics-obsessed Maelstrom and the steroid junkies of the Animals to more sophisticated options like the mafia family of Valentinos and the Japanese Tyger Claws, each gang you can find in the city plays off some unique aspect of the setting and makes your imagination run wild with what it'd be like to become a part of that criminal lifestyle.
Well, bad news: you can’t. For all their unique design, backstory, and distinct place in the world, none of the gangs in Night City are actually joinable.
The gangs function more as set pieces, and aside from brief interactions in side jobs, there’s not much you can do with them.
So, yeah, while it would be nice if V could join a gang and then climb up its ranks, unlocking more of their unique outfits and abilities, Cyberpunk only allows you to look at all the fun they’re having from afar.
