10 Best Video Game Secrets & Easter Eggs Of 2018 (So Far)

5. Dragon Ball Z Fusion Dance (Agony)

Agony wasn't notable for all that much (apart from ironic review headlines, anyway) when it released back in June, but its demented horror landscape did house one completely tone-breaking easter egg that flew under the radar.

At one point in the title you can find the charred remains of two small bodies, frozen in the depths of Hell in perpetuity mid-way through the fusion dance from Dragon Ball Z. Under usual circumstances, you wouldn't think a colourful anime like DBZ and an intentionally button-pushing, Hellraiser-esque horror would be a good fit, but the devs somehow made it work here.

Whether or not these unlucky souls were trying to use the fusion dance to gather enough power to escape their fire-and-brimstone existence or were just unlucky enough to die in that exact position is unknown, but it adds an interesting mystery to a pretty uninteresting game.
