10 Best Video Game Sequels That NEVER Happened
6. Saints Row: Money Shot
The one absolute shame of learning that this game was cancelled is that the franchise could have had the phrase "money shot" in its holster, and now we can only dream of such a thing.
Intended to be placed between Saints Row 2 and Saints Row: the Third, Money Shot revolved around a character named Cypher.
The levels would focus around Cypher pulling off various, increasingly elaborate trick shots, with the player controlling the bullet after it is fired. This might sound overly simple, but it's a premise that can quickly become incredibly complex, and knowing what Saints Row is usually like, would have definitely gotten hilariously ridiculous real fast.
It's an interesting rogue for a spin-off in the series, but it does make some sense as to why the game may have been cancelled - since it's a very different from the way the other games play out, and has significantly less opportunity for dick jokes, despite the game's title.
While we never got our glorious Money Shot, this at least didn't spell the end for the entire series, even if it was without trick-shotting assassins.
