To what extent a demigod can be considered a superhero is undoubtedly debatable (hey, it worked for Thor), but Kratos deserves his place on the list - especially given the constant morality debates surrounding Superman's godlike powers. The God Of War series is one of the most popular in the PlayStation's history, and Kratos provides its own signature image. An anti-hero in the most extreme use of the term, Kratos kills gods that have wronged him. He quite literally kills gods. That is serious power. For that alone, he is deserving of a place here. While he is most famed for wielding his enormous blades (of chaos), he would be nothing more than a mere warrior if he didn't employ his magical demigod powers every once in a while. Kratos holds huge magical abilities that enable him to match the all-conquering gods that he faces up to. He is undoubtedly a superhero - though perhaps not one that could be trusted to save the world.
