10 Best Video Games Of 2018 You're Not Playing

7. Rainbow Six: Siege

Yes, this came out back in 2015, and yes, for better or worse, release dates mean increasingly little to games that get completely overhauled in the time between launch and now. In Siege's case, it's been updated considerably yet again in 2018, and that qualifies for inclusion here - especially as it's now one of the world's most played games.

Basically, Ubisoft have channelled their immense wealth for good, releasing the best tactical shooter of all time. There are multiple PVE and objective modes or tutorials to leap into, but PVP is where it's at.

Doing its own spin on the "hero shooter", Siege comes with a host of Operators; all with their own signature abilities and equipment. Combining them with a game engine that lets you blast apart the environment itself to score headshots and flanks literally makes for the most intense FPS exchanges on any platform, ensuring no two matches are the same, but maintaining fairness throughout.

From listening out for footsteps to watching CCTV footage, laying down trip-wires to detonating the ceiling and catching someone waiting above, Siege deserves to be mentioned alongside Call of Duty and Battlefield as a premiere military FPS.

Also, you won't find any Black Ops 4 hit-detection issues here.
