To be completely frank, Ubisoft's platformer puts the Wii U's technology to better use than the majority of Nintendo's own games. Legends is also available on other platforms, but the Wii U version is certainly the definitive one thanks to its asymmetrical gameplay that makes great use of the GamePad's second screen. The levels starring Rayman and Murphy just aren't anywhere near as fun in the other versions. On Wii U, one player controls Murphy with the GamePad, using the touch screen to pull levers and cut ropes while the other player jumps and punches their way through as usual. Ubisoft really push this concept to its limits later on with really challenging levels that require real teamwork to conquer. They may test even the strongest of friendships, but the satisfaction of making it to the end together makes all of the blood, sweat, tears and unnecessary shouting totally worth it.
