Released: March 2013Month Offered: March 2015 (360), September-October 2015 (One) Just two years after release, fans were given the reboot of Tomb Raider for free in what might be the best month of Games With Gold ever, alongside Bioshock: Infinite. This reboot over time has become the best selling Tomb Raider in the franchise's history, and it's easy to see why. It also became the second time a game would be given away on both the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One, with this instance being a tad better because it saw users getting the Definite Edition on the latter. Call it an Uncharted clone if you want, but what better way for Xbox fans who haven't touched that game to experience a similar setup than with this? At its core, gameplay was extremely fun, with tight platforming and upgradable weapons alongside a fairly solid story that admittedly gets a little too crazy towards the end. Going through everything with Lara though, and seeing her transform from a simple explorer to this rugged tomb raider we've all come to know and love over the years was amazing.
