4. Rare Replay
Eminem may have told the world they forgot about a certain prolific rap producer back in 2000, but we definitely need him to pop up and do the same with Rare; the company that birthed Banjo-Kazooie, GoldenEye 007, Killer Instinct, Perfect Dark... before being bought by Microsoft and being told to make Avatar items for years. They're returning in 2016 with Sea of Thieves, the first title built from the ground-up by the team in about eight years, and to mark the occasion we've got this collection of their past work, spruced up and remastered for a modern audience. Sadly, GoldenEye doesn't make the cut, but everything else from Battletoads to Jet Force Gemini and Conker's Bad Fur Day to Viva Pinata is present and correct. Overall there are 30 titles to soak up that catalogue 30 years in the business, so although their earliest works may not be the most palatable in 2016, some games like Banjo-Kazooie and Perfect Dark are gaming royalty, plain and simple.
