10 Best Xbox Series X Games (So Far)
5. Sea Of Thieves
Now surpassing a staggering 25 million players, Rare's multi award-winning Sea Of Thieves has been the place to go for emergent pirating adventures set within a gorgeous and constantly evolving world whether you chose to play on Xbox or PC.
While this title would run well and look stunning on Xbox One machines (especially on the One X), last gen's consoles had one glaring flaw: the load times.
Not only could it feel like forever to jump into a session, but the extra time it took to spawn back onto your ship after death could mean the difference between life and death. While Xbox One players were stuck waiting on a black screen in the heat of battle, their ship could be filling up with water while nefarious foes plundered their supplies. Losing your loot because of loading could seriously sour a session.
Thanks to the next gen patch, though, load times are no longer an issue, which is completely game-changing for those coming from older consoles. And on top of that, the game now runs at a solid 60fps at 4K resolution.
This is how Sea Of Thieves is meant to be played.
