10 Best Xbox Series X Games (So Far)

3. Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice

Forza Horizon
Ninja Theory

Winner of numerous awards and praised by critics and audiences alike, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice was one of the most innovative and visually impressive games of the last generation.

There’s still a long time to wait for the sequel, Senua’s Saga, to arrive sometime in the hopefully-not-too-distant future. But until then, owners of the new generation of Xbox can experience Ninja Theory’s game all over again with its dazzling next gen upgrade.

Though the update itself was handled by QLOC, the team responsible for the game’s Switch port, the new patch brings some serious improvements to Senua’s journey through hell, making it the best way to experience the game on consoles.

Booting this game on the “Enriched” mode showcases masses of visual upgrades. Players can expect improved draw distances, better material and particle effects, and a higher framerate. But the biggest addition is the inclusion of raytracing, which makes the already immersive world appear even more realistic.

Moreover, Senua’s Sacrifice likewise provides players with a "Resolution" mode for reduced visuals at 60fps and a "Performance" mode which targets 120fps on Series X consoles at a 1080p resolution.
