10 Biggest Concerns With Upcoming 2023 Video Games

9. Bethesda's Bug Problem - Starfield

Silent Hill 2
Bethesda

When it comes to Bethesda releasing new games, it's fair to say that most people treat their announcements with cautious optimism. While the games can be a lot of fun, they are also filled with plenty of bugs and issues that are mostly the result of the studio using the same exact engine for all of their recent releases. This is why Starfield, the most ambitious project from Bethesda thus far, has created a lot of controversy within the gaming world since day one of its announcement.

The game is supposed to run on an updated version of the old Creation Engine, but this hasn't stopped the fans from worrying about Bethesda's signature brand of bugs. Given the sheer size of the sci-fi world the game is trying to establish, a simple update to the studio's age-old formula may not be enough to spare the title from becoming a disappointment on par with Fallout 76.

Of course, as is the case with most Bethesda games, the potential bugs don't inherently mean that the game will be ruined for everyone. Although it would be nice to explore the promised one thousand planets without clipping into some rocks all the time...
