10 Biggest Problems With Nintendo Switch

6. The Drift Is Still An Issue

Even though the Switch seemed like a dream come true at first, the system was only out for five minutes before gamers started noticing some irregularities. The first big gripe that customers fixated on was how the analog sticks on the Joy-Con controllers would register inputs when the player didn't press anything. This problem, known as The Drift, made certain games virtually unplayable.

Despite being a major issue, you could forgive Nintendo if they fixed the drift right away. Or in a month. Or in a year.

And yet, here we are half a decade later, and the dilemma is still common place. The issue got so bad, Nintendo was taken to court after it was alleged that the company didn't disclose the defect despite being aware of it early in production.

Sadly, this fatal flaw won't go away. Drifting occurs with such regularity, Nintendo changed their policy so they will fix any malfunctioning Joy-Con, regardless if it's under warranty.

Thankfully, technical issues such as these aren't as common on the OLED model of the Switch. But the fact that Nintendo has failed to expunge such a fundamental error entirely is shameful.
