8. Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga's Constant Delays
The Lego Star Wars series has been going on since 2005 but has so far managed to avoid the feeling of staleness that would have plagued most franchises by now.
With that being said, 2021 has been far from smooth sailing for the series thanks to the rocky development of its latest upcoming release, The Skywalker Saga. The adaptation of all nine Star Wars films, the game hasn't showcased any new formulas or changes from what players are used to by now but has been in development hell since its announcement at E3 in 2019.
2021 Was a frustrating and rocky time for fans looking forward to the game, with Traveller's Tales failing to give a clear date of when the game was going to be released being the first of many red flags over the year. The company announced that they wouldn't be able to hit the spring window they had first teased, but the company once again refused to commit to a new date for the fans.
The game will now no longer be released in 2021 whatsoever, with spring 2022 being touted as the next window for TT.
