7. The Value Of PS Plus
It's always been a bit of a funny position paying for online services, but that's made so much worse when their value is massively decreased.
Earlier in the year it was announced that PlayStation Plus users would no longer be getting PS3 and PS Vita titles for free each month. Although this makes some sense considering the generation gap, it was assumed that users would be compensated with more PS4 games.
Long story short- they weren't.
PS Plus users were still treated to two PS4 games every month, but now without any PS3 or PS Vita games. Oh, and the price increased too, just to rub salt in the wound.
It's not like the quality of games we've been receiving has massively jumped up either. Although there are occasional gems like Detroit, this was also true of PS Plus in the past and is certainly not indicative of the recent price and game changes.
PlayStation need to do something to turn this value around, because Microsoft is laughing all the way to the bank with this one.
