10 Biggest Video Game Controversies Of 2019 (So Far)
4. E3 2019 Was One Big Mess
This might have been one of the most disappointing and messy E3's we've ever seen.
Where to start? How about the fact that one of the biggest attendants of E3, Sony, decided to completely miss the event this year? That meant that before even starting, the show was down one massive conference, which meant hype levels were pretty low.
Then there's the fact that pretty much every major announcement was leaked through social media days before the show started. If there's one way to ruin E3, it's with leaks and they were at their worst this year.
Even despite that, only two of the conferences were arguably good at E3 2019, with the others being stilted and full of things we'd already seen, or didn't want to. Gone were the days of Final Fantasy VII Remake being announced.
It's not like there weren't some cool announcements too, but it was massively overshadowed by what went wrong.
At least Keanu was cool.
