10 Biggest WTF Moments From Batman: Arkham Knight

1. "Initiate The Knightfall Protocol"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=80wd7wnIxMQ After dropping Jonathan Crane off at police headquarters, Batman has a brief exchange with Alfred during which he asks him to "prepare the Knightfall Protocol". Afterwards, the Dark Knight heads off to round up the remaining villains running free in Gotham City. If you were left feeling like there's something missing after taking down Scarecrow... well, that's because there is. It's only after scouring the city for every Riddler challenge, villain and side mission that the "real" ending plays, and whoa boy - it's a doozy. After landing the Batwing on the lawn of Wayne manor, Bruce walks inside and exchanges a few words with Alfred... after which the mansion explodes in a ball of fire in front of hundreds of onlookers. And that's not all, folks - yet ANOTHER ending shows a mugging in Crime Alley being interrupted by a black-clad bat-like figure who descends from the rooftops and transforms into a monster in what is seemingly a fear toxin-induced vision. Now, the implications of this ending are staggering, and fans have already theorized a number of possibilities - has Bruce returned to Gotham City after his apparent "death"? Or is it a new player, somebody's who's taken up the cowl in his absence? And if so - who is it? Could it be Dick Grayson, or possibly even Azrael? Whatever the case may be, the ending's sure to keep fans talking for months, and when you consider the various plot threads left dangling in the wake of Bruce Wayne's demise, there's still plenty left to do with the Arkhamverse should another studio decide to take up the mantle. They'll have a hell of a time topping Rocksteady, though. Give yourselves a round of applause, guys. You've earned it. What were your favorite moments from Arkham Knight? Are you happy with how things ended, or do you think it could have been better?
