4. Uncharted 4 Trailer Steals Assassin's Creed Concept Art

Every time a new Uncharted 4 trailer was revealed, it sent seismic waves of excitement through the gaming community, each one being a harmony of epic imagery and trademark Naughty Dog humour.

The February trailer was equally glorious - it was majestic, it was cinematic, it was-- wait, that image in the picture frame looks awfully familiar. Is that... Assassin's Creed?

Yep, some lazy bugger from Naughty Dog seemingly picked one of the first pics they found on Google images under "tropical island beach" without looking into where the image originated from - which happened to be Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. The fact that there was a bleedin' pirate in the original image that they had to photoshop out should've been a hint, but the (presumably former) Naughty Dog employee didn't notice.

Amusingly, the image in the frame cuts to a similar-looking location from Uncharted 4, making it seem like they copied the location from Black Flag as well! Naughty Dog swapped out the picture and apologised in the end, though Black Flag director Ashraf Ismail took it in good spirits by thanking them for the 'homage' in a tweet.
