10 Books That Would Make Great Video Games

8. The Wind In The Willows By Kenneth Grahame

A child-friendly, simple title with cute animals based on an existing popular story, it's the perfect recipe for a fun-filled game. This entry would benefit from a more grounded approach - a smaller, more straightforward experience that focuses on bringing the character and spirit of the book to life as opposed to creating a grand adventure to sink hours into. Simplicity is not a sign of lacking.

The story is loaded with charm, yet maintains enough of a distance from popular culture that a development team would be able to adapt and alter the world without too much uproar from audiences. The game could be reminiscent of classic titles, taking a world, and adding mini-games to interact with it, and through this, there would always be variety within play options.

This would also be a fantastic way to bring in a new audience for the classic, as children would play and enjoy the game leading them to discover the book for themselves.
