What Happened? This port of the GameCube classic launched on PC with a litany of problems, including a resolution locked to 720p and 30 FPS, broken translations, dialogue typos, crashes, control commands that use both PS3 and Xbox 360 control schemes, slow-loading menus...and that's just the tip of the iceberg. Jesus Christ.

Today: Though a number of the resolution and crash-related issues were fixed by famous game fixer-upper Durante with his render-fix tool GeDoSaTo, porting studio Other Ocean's own attempts to repair the game have mostly failed, and in some cases even introduced previously non-existent compatibility issues. Don't expect this one to ever get properly fixed, but just learn from the follies of others and favour a "wait and see" approach in future, a fine strategy for all games you're interested in, in fact.
