One of the titles most well-known for giving players a number of different choices when it comes to what extent they choose to indulge their violent tendencies, Undertale is a prime example of a game that allows the player to choose a pacifistic route, despite the opportunities for violence being plentiful throughout.

Much like some of the other titles featured on this list, Undertale has dynamic reactions to the player's decisions, and the player can be both praised and derided in-game for their efforts to complete their quest without the use of violence.

In fact, completing a Buddha-like playthrough and sparing everyone you encounter throughout is the only way the player can achieve the optimum ending in the game.

However, Undertale's true pacifist route can only be accessed by the player first completing the neutral route, which can be completed with relative non-violence too, with the player only forced to kill their final enemy.
