10 Brutally Hard Areas Hidden In Video Games

7. Archdragon Peak - Dark Souls III

Of course a couple of Dark Souls areas were going to make it onto this list, and first up we have the third game's anxiety-inducing expanse Archdragon Peak.

You're able to access the area by first picking up the Path of the Dragon gesture from Consumed King's Garden and then heading over to Irithyll Dungeon.

Stand on the rug next to the stone dragon statue and perform the gesture while looking towards the mountains in the distance and a cutscene will play after a few seconds, transporting you to Archdragon Peak.

What follows is nothing short of hellish: Man-serpents and Drakeblood knights that'll annihilate you for even the slightest mistake, while the double main event comes in the form of two bosses - the mighty Ancient Wyvern and the ultra-powerful Nameless King.

Given that the latter is one of toughest bosses in the entirety of Dark Souls III, only the hardiest players need apply.
