10 Cancelled Video Games That Looked Awesome

3. Road Rash

With all these video game franchises like Devil May Cry and Tomb Raider getting glossy reboots, how about giving one to a hugely popular video game series that has been begging for a new version for years? The classic Mega Drive game was in fact due for another go around the track by way of EA, but when its Warrington studio closed, so too did any chance of us getting a new Road Rash game. It's a shame as this title has so much potential; who wouldn't want to play a game in which you can assault other drivers with a variety of weapons, and of course, with the guarantee of online play, this thing would have probably been huge! Who wouldn't want to play a Burnout-style beat 'em up with bikes? We can only hope that another developer will see the light and be able to procure the rights from EA, though we'll never rely on EA to actually, you know, be sensible or anything.
