10 Cancelled Video Games That Would Have Been Awesome

5. Demonik (Xbox 360) (2005)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0b5TI_Z6eRg Remember the 2006 movie Grandma's Boy? No? That's OK no one does. The film tanked at the box office. The reason I bring this up is that if you had watched it, you may remember a video game that forms the basis of the plot: a third-person action game called 'Demonik' lovingly developed by the movies protagonist. Demonik was in fact a real game being developed by a real studio, Bloodrayne creators Terminal Reality. With a story penned by horror master Clive Barker, Demonik cast players as a Demon summoned from the underworld to seeking revenge on behalf of your demon overlords. Given the usual quality behind Clive Barkers work, we can assume the plot would be a little less cheesy than the above description. Alas, we'll never find out. In January 2006, publisher Majesco announced it was cancelling Demonik along with other titles still in development.
