5. Behemoth - Monster Hunter: World

Behemoth, originating from Final Fantasy XIV and now terrorising Monster Hunter: World in a crossover event, is one of the bigger hunts, as the name suggests. Those knowledgeable of Monster Hunter will be well aware of the time and effort it takes to play the game, planning out hunts, perfecting builds and grinding for gear. Whether by yourself or playing co-operative, some hunts can take up to an hour, and that’s without any hiccups.

Yet, most beasties don’t have the infamous one-hit kill to offer, specifically in the base game. Many are tough but with the right armour and patience, you can take a few hits.

Behemoth’s ecliptic meteor attack, though, can drop any hunter in one. You’re supposed to hide behind large rocks as the meteor crashes into the ground, engulfing the arena in flames. This takes timing and a bit of precision.

Or, you could hit a very specific jump emote and you’ll dodge the entire attack entirely. Which is pretty cheeky but then again, Behemoth also has a DPS check, which will launch a meteor without anything to hide behind.

So either get that damage in or get really good with those jump emotes.
